Step 2 Everyday English 1. Task 1 (Ss) Look at the words and phrases and choose the right explanation. 2. Check the answers and explain the usages of the following phrases. 1) throw light on 帮助弄清楚;阐明某事 e.g. Your statement does not throw light on the subject. Step 4 Writing 1. Talk about how to describe a strange/mysterious thing. (When, where, what, how, why…) 2. Work in pairs to work out an outline for the writing.
