Task 1 Get the Ss to complete the chart in pairs and make
their recommendations.
Task 2 Ask students continue a dialogue by listening to the
opinion of the previous and giving
their own recommendation.
Step 3 Writing in TB
Task 1 Brainstorm the reason why we should learn English in
pairs and give a report.
Task 2 Study the sample poster and learn to make their own
posters.
Task 3 Make a poster or write a short passage with the
title—why should we learn English?

1. Revise and summary the language items learned in this

in TB
Teaching & learning goals:
1. Revise the language items in this unit.
2. Study the sample writing and learn to write about the
problems in English study.
3. Learning tips and Projects.
Main points: writing practice and revision
Difficult Points: writing & sum up
Class type: Writing & Summing up
Teaching & learning procedures:
Step 1 Summing up
Task Fill in the blanks in Summing up. (It’s a good chance for
teacher to guide the Ss to revise
the main learning points in this unit.)
Step 2 Writing in TB
Task 1 Work in pairs to prepare the writhing materials/
information.
Task 2 Study the sample writing and the outline.
Task 3 Make an outline according to their own materials and
write a short passage in 8 minutes.
Step 3 Project in WB (If time is enough.)
Step 4 Question time
