Lesson Plan Unit 1: Friendship (PEP, Book 1) 1. Class profile 40 students in grade 1(in senior high school) 2. Timetable fit Students have already learnt the new vocabulary and new words and phrases of this unit. 3. Main aims a. Students can improve their way of reading in a narrative writing. b. Students can express their feelings in a dairy. 4. Subsidiary aims a. Students can improve their reading skills like skimming, scanning and getting the main idea of each paragraph. b. Students can freely use some basic words or phrases relating to the feelings. 5. Personal aims To improve teacher’s ability to perform the controlled reading exercises. 6. Assumptions Students can use some basic phrases such as laugh at, stay awake, dare to do. 7. Anticipated problems Students may have no idea on how to write a dairy to express themselves. 8. Possible solutions Teacher can guide students to analyze the reading material and guide them to learn to wirte. 9.
